An event budget does more than track revenue and expenses. A good budget can help with overall event planning, mitigate risk, and provide a framework for clear reporting. During this session, we will review budget examples for events of various sizes, learn about best practices, and discuss questions from participants.
About Linda
Linda Onorevole joined Handbell Musicians of America as its executive director in January 2022. She has three decades of experience managing arts organizations in New Jersey and Florida. She has served as executive director of New Jersey Youth Symphony, and director of development at the South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) in New Jersey. While at SOPAC, in addition to her fundraising responsibilities, she held the role of interim executive director in 2012-2013. During her tenure at SOPAC, the organization received its first major awards from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, New Jersey Cultural Trust, and numerous foundations and corporations. Linda has served on the boards of the Youth Orchestra Division of the League of American Orchestras, the New Jersey Association of Museums, and the South Orange Village Center Alliance. She was a grant panelist for the Florida Department of Cultural Affairs, Essex County Local Arts Grants (NJ), and Westchester Arts Council (NY).
